Microsoft teams video call self view

Ask a new question. Our office uses Microsoft teams and we are currently working from home. I have several video chats booked in and when I have trailed teams from my laptop I cannot see the small picture of myself in the bottom corner similar to the facetime feature. I do have the picture when using my desktop in the main office.

How can I add this to my laptop in settings? Thank you for the posting in our forum community. If yes, we have checked such setting or option for this small picture but microsoft teams video call self view could not find any proper setting or option.

If we misunderstand anything wrong regarding your concern requirement, could you please provide us below information from your side so that we can better understand your concern requirement and assist you according to that concern requirement? Was this microsoft teams video call self view helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. I have team members with the same issue. I am using Teams on my 32 bit for windows 10 having Windows. You will have to test with multiple people in a video call.

I learned that the small image of myself appears in the bottom right corner when I launch the app on my laptop but it does NOT appear when i launch the web-based version of teams in a browser. My question is an extension of this in that I want my image to be the same scale as all others in the meeting so that I can see my own facial expressions! I mean we gotta know what we look like. Make it like Zoom where all images are equal including mine as attendee or host.

You are wasting our time when you just throw in a bunch of general garbage tips that do not actually help to either troubleshoot or find a solution.

I have the same problem a problem I did not have last week and I did not touch any settings, which is why I’m here and you just wasted time better spent finding a real solution elsewhere. I had a similar problem. Normally, when I join a Teams meeting via laptop with built-in camera, with “gallery” view checked, I can see myself via a small box on screen while also viewing other participants.

For no apparent reason, Teams began to show only a small blank black box where my video should have been. Other participants assured me they could see me fine. There does not appear to be any setting to microsoft teams video call self view the user to resolve the problem. Shutting down Microsoft teams video call self view and restarting did not fix the problem.

As is microsoft teams video call self view the case, a simple restart of the computer resolved the issue. So I suggest rebooting first before trying any of the other suggested solutions. So, anyone has solved that issue?
